Dr. Guion “Guy” S. Bluford Jr., Ph.D., founder and president of the Aerospace Technology Group and member of the Board of Directors at ENSCO, Inc. since 2003 has been selected for induction into the National Aviation Hall of Fame. A former NASA astronaut, Dr. Bluford has held executive positions at Northrop Grumman, Federal Data Corporation and NYMA Inc.
ENSCO, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of Thomas DeFrank as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 5. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of ENSCO’s corporate finance and accounting functions, treasury management and corporate facilities.

The Military Division of the Institute of Navigation (ION) will host the 2019 Joint Navigation Conference (JNC 2019) for the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. The theme of this year’s conference is Positioning, Navigation and Timing Technologies: The Foundation for Military Ops and Homeland Security.

ENSCO will demonstrate MicroSearch, which uses advanced technology to determine if an unauthorized person is hiding in a vehicle or container by detecting the vibrations caused by the person’s heartbeat.
