What He’s Working on This Summer
Henok will be writing machine‑vision code for ENSCO’s Joint Bar Imaging System (JBIS), a high‑speed camera platform that scans joint bars for cracks. His algorithms will add rail‑brand detection and optical character recognition.

Technology That Inspires Him
Henok is very excited about augmented reality and virtual reality, particularly their possible integrations with AI. He thinks there is a possibility of simulating various historical events, favorite movie scenes, or constructing personalized creative environments.
