Coinciding with the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the rail safety organization Operation Lifesaver, the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and ENSCO, Inc. announced on June 10 that they were in the planning stages for a new grade crossing test bed to evaluate and demonstrate emerging safety technologies at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, Colorado.

Today, the Board of Directors of ENSCO, Inc., an international engineering, science, and advanced technology enterprise, announced the formation of the Mission Systems Group, a merging of its national security, aerospace, avionics and cybersecurity programs into one business unit. Kevin Pruett, ENSCO’s Senior Vice President of the Aerospace Engineering Group, was promoted to Executive Vice President and will be the lead executive for the Mission Systems Group, effective July 2, 2022.

ENSCO, Inc. will be showcasing at the 2022 CTA Technology Summit, June 12-15, at the Hilton Ballpark Hotel in St. Louis, Miss., exhibiting in booth 10. ENSCO will be displaying the advanced capabilities of its MicroSearch® Human Presence Detection System (HPDS) technology. MicroSearch will demonstrate three configurations of the technology: the Wired System, the Wireless System and the newly developed Contactless Vehicle Sensor (CVS) System.

Today, the Board of Directors of ENSCO, Inc., announced the appointment of Jeff Stevens as its new President, effective July 2, 2022. Mr. Stevens, a 23-year ENSCO veteran, is currently Senior Vice President for the Surface Transportation Group. Mr. Stevens will replace Boris Nejikovsky, who will retire after 30 years at the company.

This week marks the beginning of the transition of ENSCO, Inc. to operate and maintain the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) on behalf of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). Starting October 2022, ENSCO will be fully operational to provide research and development, testing, engineering and training services at the TTC in Pueblo, Colo.
