Michael DeLibero Named to RT&S 2026 “Young Engineers Under 40” List

Vienna, VA – April 13, 2026

ENSCO’s Michael DeLibero has been named to Railway Track & Structures (RT&S) magazine’s 2026 Young Engineers Under 40 list, recognizing emerging leaders who are making significant contributions to the rail industry.

DeLibero serves as Ultrasonic Technologies Manager at ENSCO, where he leads the development of advanced ultrasonic rail flaw detection technologies that strengthen rail safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. His work focuses on translating modern sensing and system concepts into practical inspection tools that perform in demanding field conditions.

Through his leadership, DeLibero played a key role in delivering ENSCO’s first high-speed ultrasonic rail flaw detection system, enabling effective inspection at speeds up to 50 mph. His contributions have helped advance ultrasonic inspection from incremental improvements to meaningful performance gains, supporting faster defect detection, reduced operational disruption, and more scalable deployment across rail networks.
