Edwards’ presentation, “History of UAS, Classification and Current Uses in Ukraine Conflict” will trace the evolution of unmanned aircraft systems and clarify how they are classified across operational environments. Drawing on current conflict examples from Ukraine, he will show how those classifications shape real-world deployment and influence counter-UAS decision-making. The presentation takes place March 2 at 9:30 a.m. inside the Westin Ottawa hotel.
