Bill Edwards, director of C-UAS Operations at ENSCO, will present insights on unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and counter-UAS operations at ISC West 2026. His session, “Gladiators of the Sky: The Evolution of sUAS Drones and Outdated Physical Security Programs,” will take place at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 26, at 2:15 p.m. PDT.
Attendees will gain insight into how UAS classification informs system selection, training, and operational planning. The presentation will examine the evolution of UAS technologies, how systems are classified, and how those classifications affect detection and mitigation in operational environments. Drawing on lessons learned as recently as last week from the Ukraine conflict, Edwards will connect these concepts to current security challenges while providing attendees with insight into detection capabilities, countermeasure effectiveness, and resource prioritization.
