Cyber leaders to address mission-ready capability, site surveys, and quality control at UCCS National Cybersecurity Center

ENSCO will sponsor and present at the March Cybersecurity First Friday event hosted at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs National Cybersecurity Center, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening Defensive Cyber Operations and operational resilience across the national security community.
The event will take place March 6, 2026, at 4 p.m. MT at the UCCS National Cybersecurity Center and will convene military, government, industry and academic members of the Colorado Springs cyber community.
Todd Cook, ENSCO Director of Cyber, and Joe Alvarez, ENSCO Operations Chief and Site Lead for Defensive Cyber Operations-Space, will deliver a presentation titled “Defensive Cyber Operations Disciplined Processes.” The session will examine the structured processes required to deploy mission-ready cyber capabilities, with emphasis on site surveys, pre-deployment planning, and rigorous quality control.
As cyber threats grow more complex, especially with the incorporation of AI, disciplined execution is critical to ensuring operational effectiveness. ENSCO’s approach integrates detailed pre-deployment assessments with continuous quality verification to ensure cybersecurity solutions are delivered on schedule and perform as intended in mission environments.
The presentation will also provide a brief overview of ENSCO’s broader cybersecurity and national security capabilities, including engineering support, operational assessments, and resilient system deployment strategies designed to protect critical military systems.
