ENSCO’s Director of Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Operations, Bill Edwards, will speak during the small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) Executive Briefing at the 69th Air Safety Forum, hosted by the Airline Pilots Association (ALPA). The event, held September 8–11, 2025 at the Hilton Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, brings together aviation safety leaders, regulators, and industry stakeholders to explore the most pressing challenges facing the commercial flight community today. Edwards will speak at 10:30 a.m. local time on September 9.
A retired U.S. Army intelligence officer with over 35 years of experience in operational security, counterterrorism, and homeland defense, Edwards will share insights on the growing risks posed by sUAS and the practical steps the aviation sector must take to detect, manage, and mitigate these threats.
