ENSCO, Inc. is honored to announce that we have recently earned three awards that recognize our commitment to our employees, our veterans and our community.
- The HIRE Vets Gold Medallion Award – The only federal-level veterans’ employment award that recognizes a company or organization’s commitment to veteran hiring, retention and professional development.
- Military Friendly Designation – Military Friendly® is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefit for the military community.
- CARE Award – The “Company As Responsible Employer” (CARE) Award is presented by Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) to commend companies using outstanding culture and employee engagement strategies to create the best places to work across the D.C. Metro Region.
This is ENSCO’s first time winning the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Gold Medallion Award. The program is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). The award signals to veterans that an employer is committed to and supports our nation’s heroes. By meeting the criteria, ENSCO has demonstrated both patriotism and recognition of the value veterans bring to the workplace.
The Military Friendly® program creates civilian opportunities for veterans. By setting a standard, promoting it and raising the bar over time, it provides long term, positive reinforcement for American organizations to invest in programs that improve the lives of veterans. Military Friendly® is owned and operated by VIQTORY, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business.
By winning the CARE Award for a fifth year, NVFS recognizes ENSCO as an outstanding organization for its community and employee impact across the DC Metro Region. ENSCO is one of 19 companies to receive the award in 2021. The CARE Awards presentation will take place virtually on November 16, 2021.
