ENSCO Presents Research Findings at International Wheelset Congress

ENSCO Rail, a leading provider in railway infrastructure inspection technology, will be presenting at the International Wheelset Congress in Chicago, IL, on May 10. ENSCO will be participating in Session 10, Innovative Design, Materials and Manufacturing, sharing their recent study on the contributing factors that lead to Vertical Split Rims (VSR), a leading cause for wheel removal for rail services in North America.

On Wednesday, May 10 from 1:50-2:05 p.m., Alejandro Alvarez-Reyes, Senior Staff Project Engineer for the Applied Technology and Engineering Division (ATE), will be presenting Investigating the Contributing factors to VSR wheel Failures in North American Freight Railways Using Finite Element Analysis.
