ENSCO, Inc., a global provider of advanced engineering, science, and technology solutions, announces the appointment of Gregory T. Grissom, P.E., as Division Manager, Rail Inspection & Asset Management Services. In this role, Grissom will lead strategic initiatives to expand ENSCO’s rail inspection and asset management services, supporting advanced solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and performance across the rail transportation sector.
Grissom brings more than 25 years of experience in railway engineering, infrastructure technologies, and operational leadership, with a career focused on advancing innovation, improving operational efficiency, and building high-performing engineering and technology organizations.
Prior to joining ENSCO, Grissom served as President of Loram Technologies, where he led a global technology organization delivering advanced rail maintenance, inspection, and material handling solutions for freight and passenger railroads. Under his leadership, the organization achieved significant growth while expanding the use of automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and AI-enabled technologies to improve rail safety, predictive maintenance, and infrastructure performance.
Earlier in his career, Grissom held multiple executive leadership roles at Georgetown Rail Equipment Company (GREX), including President, Chief Operating Officer, and Vice President of Engineering, where he oversaw the development and deployment of award-winning track inspection systems and advanced rail infrastructure technologies.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Wisconsin, New Jersey, and Texas, Grissom is also an inventor on multiple patents related to railroad technology. His industry recognitions include the Progressive Railroading “Rising Star” Award and an R&D 100 Award for innovation in rail inspection technology.
Grissom holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Railway Engineering) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
At ENSCO, Grissom will apply his technical expertise and strategic leadership to strengthen and expand the company’s contract services operations, advance customer-focused solutions, and support the company’s mission to deliver innovative engineering and technology solutions that enhance safety, security, and performance across transportation and infrastructure systems.
