Michelle Engelke
Meet Michelle
Michelle is from Elizabeth, Colo., and is currently living in Melbourne, Fla. She loves “anything to do with the sky or space!”
School
She is attending the Florida Institute of Technology, and is graduating in the spring of 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering.
What Michelle is Working On
This summer, Michelle is working in the Aerospace Engineering Group advancing her skills by developing and supporting projects for the modernization of the U.S launch and test range systems. Specifically, she’s working on optics systems of Cape Canaveral Air Force Base, as they evolve to accommodate the modern space era.
Why ENSCO?
“I was attracted to ENSCO because it seemed like a very welcoming — yet challenging — environment for someone who is just starting to get into the professional world! I also liked how the work ENSCO does matters and as an intern, I am able to contribute in a meaningful way. ENSCO has given me some amazing opportunities so far — whether it was meeting new people or getting hands-on learning at Cape Canaveral!”
Off-the-Clock Michelle
After work hours, Michelle can often be found hiking — most often in the Rockies, but she’s recently fallen in love with the Smoky Mountains as well.
