Meet Danny
Danny joins us as an ENSCO Rail Summer Intern. Danny hails from Oakton, Va., and is majoring in mechanical engineering.
School
Ohio State University (Go Bucks!)
What Danny’s Working On
As part of his internship, Danny is assisting ENSCO mechanical engineers with the design, modeling and drafting of existing and new hardware for various ENSCO Rail products. He’s also performing in-house lab tests to validate improved performance of a new optical bench configuration as part of an internal research and development project.
Why ENSCO?
“The engineering that ENSCO does interests me. I wanted the opportunity to get engineering experience and I’ve always been interested in rail engineering specifically.”
Off-the-Clock Danny
When he’s not working, Danny participates on a team building a race car for his school’s Formula team — he not only builds the aerodynamic components, but also runs the media division of the team as well!
