Zone 1: Sampling of Past Performance and Workforce

ENSCO and team members, Capstone, Michael Baker Jr., Inc., Digicomp, and RDA all have presence in Zone 1. This team has over 500 employees available to support SeaPort-e efforts in this zone. Digicomp completed NAVAIR combat and weapons control systems software development work in 2005. Other relevant programs Digicomp has supported include Wolfpack (unattended autonomous ground sensor/jammer), BSY-2 safety analysis, and the B2 Bomber.

• Global Combat Support Services
  ENSCO is a subcontractor to LM IS&S on the Global Combat Support Services program for the US Air Force. ENSCO supplies 15 employees on the program supporting system architecture; system security development utilizing Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM); support of Oracle 10g application server; JAVA development of a laptop Air Force Mechanics’ User Manual; technical support of the system integration lab containing Microsoft, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Solaris platforms; program planning, including business and cost-schedule (earned value) management using best practice tools and processes; technical writing; and packaging and release of Teamcenter©, a product lifecycle management system.
• Electronic Warfare (EW)
  ENSCO is a subcontractor to LM Systems Integration (LMSI) on the Soothsayer Program.  ENSCO has been an integral part in the development of Soothsayer, the next generation Electronic Warfare (EW) capability for UK land forces. ENSCO software engineers developed the core of the custom software needed to integrate the systems using state of the art development tools and methods in C/C++/C# and .Net programming languages. ENSCO employees have also been responsible for software verification, CM management, and documentation updates.  The ENSCO Integration and Testing group has been critical in full system testing, PTR identification / isolation, and PTR resolution for continuous system improvements. ENSCO employees have also been responsible for program security and security rule conformance in line with DoD / MoD procedures.
• Presidential Helicopter (VH-71)
  ENSCO is a subcontractor to LMSI on the VH71 Presidential Helicopter Program. We provide support in the LM Presidential Helicopter facility in Owego, NY as well as at the Naval base in Pax River, MD. Our support encompasses mechanical and electrical high level design and detailed design engineering for System Integration Labs (SIL) build and development, Full Life Cycle development of a Real Time Avionics Subsystem Simulator that was used for Test and Integration in the SIL, Engineering Support for Flight Operations, Flight and Ground Procedures, Flight Planning, Systems Safety, and Human Factors. ENSCO was also tasked with Software Development for new Cockpit Displays and prototypes using VAPS.
• Multi-Mission Helicopter Programs (MMH)
  ENSCO is a subcontractor to LMSI in support of Multi-Mission Helicopter programs including the Light Airborne Multi Platform (LAMPS) program and the VH71 Presidential Helicopter. ENSCO supports software development for the VH-71, MH-60R and MH-60S Mission Planning System (MPS), a PC based application providing flight crews the ability to plan for various missions. Software engineering tasks consist of design, development, test, and integration of the MPS. Software development uses Microsoft Visual C++ and C# .Net to develop an object-oriented Windows application.
• Distribution Technologies (DT)
  ENSCO is a subcontractor to LMSI in support of their material handling contracts with the USPS, various foreign mail services, and private companies. We have supported prototyping, design, software development, software integration and test, systems engineering, mechanical design, technical documentation and graphics, logistics, field support, and deployment.
