ENSCO, Inc. announces it has received an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract award under the Joint Enterprise Research, Development, Acquisition and Production/Procurement (JE-RDAP) program, administered by the U.S. Army ACC-APG, Natick Contracting Division. ENSCO was selected as a prime contractor on this IDIQ vehicle, which has a ceiling of up to $8.27 billion.
The contract vehicle is a channel for the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) to acquire mission-essential support in the areas of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosives CBRNE defense systems, equipment, and material; installation protection; radiological/nuclear defense systems, and CBRNE information systems.
“ENSCO is pleased to have won this contract,” states Boris Nejikovsky, President of ENSCO. “It represents a strategic win for ENSCO because it is the primary contract vehicle for the JPEO-CBD to acquire CBRNE defense systems and the associated research, development, prototyping, and services, such as modeling and simulation. All of these areas align well with ENSCO’s core capabilities in CBRNE and modeling and simulation. We are enthusiastic about our potential for providing CBRNE systems development, integration, modeling and simulation support under this contract.”
