ENSCO Avionics to Attend Aviation Electronics Europe 2017 in Munich

ENSCO Avionics will participate in the Aviation Electronics Europe show in Munich, Germany, April 25-26. Meet industry experts, view demonstrations, and learn more about ENSCO Avionics’ capabilities at Booth F2.

AEE 2017Aviation Electronics Europe is the largest international exhibition of aviation electronics and avionics, and a conference program that addresses relevant issues facing commercial and defense sectors, fixed wing, and rotorcraft. The exhibit offers visitors the chance to meet key players in the industry and view demonstrations of new products, developments, technologies, and services available on the market, and also key elements of the upgrades and retrofits market.

ENSCO Avionics will be showcasing the IData® Tool Suite with the IDataMap 2.0 module for certifiable terrain awareness and warning system (TAWS), and synthetic vision application development. IDataMap 2.0 is available as part of the IData Tool Suite, as well as is leveraged by ENSCO to deliver custom display solutions to customers seeking to outsource display development.

Demonstrations of IData developed applications will be presented, and also the new functionality in IDataMap 2.0 for high performance and high fidelity 2-D and 3-D digital moving maps to displays. ENSCO Avionics will highlight its Engineering and Certification Services, and the IGL® SW Renderer.

  • DO-178C and DO-278A Engineering and Certification Services: Services to support any stage of the software development life cycle from requirements through design, code, integration, verification, and certification covering a wide range of platforms with specific domain experience in embedded systems, power systems, and avionics displays.
  • DO-254 Hardware/Firmware Engineering Services: ENSCO provides full or partial turnkey complex electronic hardware development solutions required to support DO-254 requirements through Level A design assurance levels.
  • Systems and Software Verification and Testing: ENSCO conducts independent verification of systems and software in compliance with rigorous, formal standards, including DO-178C, DO-254 DO-278, ED-12, ED-80, and ED-109. The team is uniquely able to provide quick-turn system test and integration solutions by leveraging ENSCO’s Universal Test Environment (UTE) technology.
  • IGL® SW Renderer: A highly flexible graphics renderer that offers the benefits of a software-driven OpenGL® graphics engine and gives application developers a wide range of implementation options for providing safety-critical, real-time graphics on many different systems without the need for a dedicated GPU.
