Hi-Rail Gage Inspection System

A low-cost, reliable solution for tracking gage conditions

ENSCO Hi-Rail Gage Inspection SystemThere is never enough time to cover the area you need to inspect. Advancements in sensor technology from ENSCO provide a low-cost reliable solution for tracking gage conditions. The laser sensor easily mounts on your hi-railer and plugs directly into your laptop. Gage is reported on an easy to read strip chart and detected exceptions are displayed with audible and visual alarms. Exceptions are stored with the corresponding milepost and GPS, and can be exported to MS Excel for easy distribution and location by your maintenance staff for repair.

Portable Track Loading Fixture

The power of accurate gage restraint measurement in a portable tool

ENSCO Rail Portable Track Loading FixtureENSCO’s manually operated Portable Track Loading Fixture (PTLF) measures to American Railway Engineering Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards for gage strength. The fixture measures the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of the inspection. Equipping your maintenance crew with a PTLF is analogous to giving them the power of a Gage Restraint Measuring System (GRMS) on their tool belt.

PTLF is based on research sponsored by the FRA and ENSCO’s internal research and development.

Digital Track Notebook® (DTN) Handheld Field Inspections

Automate the management of your inspection schedules, maintenance, defect identification and follow-up records with this easy to use, handheld device

ENSCO Digital Track Notebook-Handheld field inspectionsNow you can carry a safety standards library, make track calculations quickly, and record track inspection data on a handheld computer. ENSCO has developed the Digital Track Notebook® (DTN) for your field inspectors. The Digital Track Notebook provides a means for track inspectors and maintenance personnel to manage inspection schedules, record track related defects, record maintenance activity, perform follow up inspections on defects collected by FRA track geometry vehicles, and synchronize all field information with a centralized data management system. The DTN is in compliance with FRA electronic record keeping requirements.

DTN is based on research sponsored by the FRA and ENSCO’s internal research and development.
