401(k) Retirement Plan

Regular employees working at least 20 hours per week and others who have earned a "year of eligibility service" are eligible to participate. ENSCO matches dollar-for-dollar up to 6 percent of compensation after an employee’s first 12 months (up to 2.5 percent of compensation for the first 12 months of employment). ENSCO pays all administrative fees (except fees for loan processing and for individually directed brokerage accounts), so employee earnings are not diluted.

Most employees may defer up to 100 percent of compensation (limited by pay available after other required deductions); "highly compensated" employees (an IRS-defined term) are limited to 14 percent deferral. Additional "catch-up" deferrals are available at age 50 (not matched). Our plan has a graduated 5-"years of service" vesting schedule.

ENSCO’s flexible retirement plan includes: self-directed investments with Vanguard; loans; approximately 10 "core" funds and 12 "target retirement" funds from which to choose; pre-tax and Roth accounts; rollovers of untaxed and Roth accounts accepted from eligible plans and from traditional (untaxed) IRAs.

Holiday, Paid Time Off, and Other Leave

ENSCO recognizes that employees have lives away from work, and that happy, healthy employees are productive employees. As a result, we have many types of leave for new employees:

  • Holidays: seven paid holidays
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Bereavement
  • Military service
  • Jury duty
  • Family medical leave (FMLA)
  • Leave without pay

ENSCO, Inc. and its wholly owned U.S. subsidiaries are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
