Cargo/Vehicle Inspection for Human Presence

ENSCO supports border and port security throughout the world through our security and inspection technologies. The premier patented heartbeat detection system in the world, MicroSearch®—ENSCO’s human presence detection system—can detect a person hiding in a vehicle by sensing the compressions on a vehicle’s suspension system caused by a person’s heartbeat.

MicroSearch is ideal for border crossings, maritime ports, and portals/entries to any highly valued facility, as well as correctional facilities. Critical buildings and assets, including embassies and federal, military, and civilian buildings, can benefit from the increased security that MicroSearch provides.

Corrections

MicroSearch was originally developed as a security tool to assist corrections officers in preventing stowaways in vehicles from escaping from a jail or prison. Today, it has proven itself in this capacity, with installations at prisons across the U.S., Europe, and Australia.  It quickly and accurately inspects the various vehicles that enter and exit correctional facilities such as laundry, food service, and garbage trucks.

Border Crossings

MicroSearch optimizes security at  border crossings throughout the world, where illegal aliens and/or potential terrorists may attempt entry into a country or territories without proper authorization.

 

Rapid Container Inspection for Port Security

MicroSearch is the ideal security tool for screening both vehicles and cargo containers loaded on vehicles or approved hydraulic lifts prior to being loaded onto airplanes, ships, and rail cars. Large cargo trucks exiting seaports can be inspected quickly for illegal immigrants or other individuals attempting to gain unauthorized access.

The system has been successfully installed and is in operation at more than 200 locations across the United States and abroad.

MicroSearch is available in three configurations: desktop, portable “briefcase,” and industrial versions.
