ENSCO deploys advancements in sensor technology to provide a low-cost reliable solution for tracking gage and crosslevel conditions. The laser sensor easily mounts on your hi-railer and plugs directly into your laptop. Gage and crosslevel are reported on an easy to read stripchart. Both audible and visual alarms alert to detected exceptions. The exceptions are stored with the corresponding milepost and GPS, and can be exported to an Excel® spreadsheet for easy distribution and location by your maintenance staff.
ENSCO’s manually operated Portable Track Loading Fixture (PTLF) measures to American Railway Engineering Maintenance-of-way Association (AREMA) and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) standards for gage strength. The fixture measures the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of the inspection. Equipping your maintenance crew with a PTLF is analogous to giving them the power of a Gage Restraint Measuring System (GRMS) on their tool belt.
PTLF is based on research sponsored by the FRA and ENSCO internal research and development.
ENSCO developed the Digital Track Notebook® (DTN) for field inspectors to record track inspections electronically without the need for paper. The Digital Track Notebook enables track inspectors and maintenance personnel to manage inspection schedules, record track related defects and maintenance activity, and to synchronize all field information with a centralized data management system. Additionally, the DTN can quickly create regulatory and management reports. The DTN is in compliance with FRA electronic record keeping requirements.
DTN is based on research sponsored by the FRA and ENSCO internal research and development.
