SENTRY™

Early Warning and Decision Support System

ENSCO Enterprise Protection SENTRYSENTRY™, ENSCO’s chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) early warning and decision support system, is the leading system of its kind for large building and compound security. SENTRY uses an open architecture, enabling easy integration of sensors from all vendors. Providing an integrated view of data from sensors, alarms and environmental factors, SENTRY enables first responders to make more informed decisions in the face of a catastrophic event, helping to save lives and to minimize collateral damage. Our system helps direct medical and fire personnel identify the safest escape routes; determine where and when to execute decontamination; decide when to initiate collective protective strategies; and stage evacuation plans for maximum efficiency in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear event.

SENTRY’s primary purpose is to minimize the time from detection to response during a toxic release, bridging the gap between sensor data and actionable information. Because respiratory and skin exposure to certain particles can be fatal, the need for speed and reliability is critical.

ENSCO Enterprise Protection SENTRY Pentagon Our system has been operational at the Pentagon since 2002, and was recently expanded to provide improved support to this critical part of our defense infrastructure. SENTRY has also been installed at Sandia National Labs in support of the Homeland Security Information Management Architecture Study, and at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
