Knowledge Management

Knowledge is power only if you can make sense out of the vast amount of available information. Managing your data is at the core of our Web-based data analysis environment that is used to access, analyze, and manage information, and to generate reports. Our knowledge management system integrates commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software with components custom-developed by ENSCO to access and manage information over an Intranet comprised of UNIX and PC workstations. Other capabilities of the system are made available through core external software applications, including atmospheric models, scientific knowledge bases, and other mission critical databases. The system utilizes relational database, Web browser/server and Java technologies in order to allow uniform information access and cross-platform interoperability needed by evaluators to perform their tasks.
