ENSCO GPS-Denied GeoNavigation Expert to Speak at National Conference

Falls Church, Va., January 9, 2008 – ENSCO will present “Impact of Rapid Temperature Change on Firefighter Tracking in GPS-denied Environments Using Inexpensive MEMS IMUs” at the Institute of Navigation (ION) National Technical Meeting in San Diego, Calif., January 28 – 30. This three-day conference features more than 125 speakers from prominent research organizations around the world. ENSCO is one of a small number of presenters from the corporate marketplace selected to speak. The presentation is based on results from ENSCO’s GPS-denied geolocation technology named Dalmatian.

ENSCO’s Dalmatian technology provides passive geolocation of pedestrians in GPS-denied environments for the first responder and other groups.
