ENSCO, Inc. Announces RTCA DO-254 Support
Falls Church, Va., November 9, 2005 — ENSCO, Inc., the premier supplier of safety- and mission-critical avionics software engineering solutions announced today its entry into the RTCA DO-254 Services marketplace. ENSCO has been providing RTCA DO-178B Development, Test, Integration, Verification and Certification Services for more than 15 years. ENSCO’s expertise spreads across a number of avionics systems including flight controls, engine controls, actuation controls, power controls and cockpit instrumentation.
Since January 2005, ENSCO has been working on several Civil Certification programs that require RTCA DO-254 certification for complex programmable hardware. These programs include major avionics suppliers for leading multi-national companies such as Raytheon, ITT, MOOG, Honeywell, and Sandel. All of these key projects include support for RTCA DO-254 that varies from Certification Consultation, FAA DER involvement, Training Services, Development, and Verification activities.
