Kevin Pruett Promoted to Vice President, ENSCO Aerospace Sciences and Engineering Division

Falls Church, Va., and Cocoa Beach, Fla., November 20, 2006 — ENSCO, Inc., a diversified research, development and information technology company, today announced that Kevin Pruett has been promoted to the position of Vice President of ENSCO's Aerospace Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Division. This announcement was made by ENSCO President Alan Bell at the 2006 Annual Meeting for Virginia employees.

In 2004, Kevin Pruett joined ENSCO to lead their ASE Division, which has expanded by 34 percent under Pruett’s guidance. Kevin has played a key role in the launch and success of ENSCO’s new weather forecasting tools and in winning ENSCO’s first commercial weather forecasting contract with United Airlines. He worked closely with the ENSCO business development team to secure the National Weather Service Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) contract teamed with Raytheon.

“We are very fortunate to have great weather business unit team members who are focused on success. Our aerospace business unit did a great job of sustaining and growing the business over the last two years as we built the weather business unit. We are now in a position of having two business areas that are well positioned for continued expansion, which, in turn, will lead to individual growth opportunities for all ENSCO ASE Division employees,” shares Mr. Pruett.

Prior to joining ENSCO, Kevin served as senior business development manager for homeland security at Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Fla. Kevin received his B.S. in business administration from the University of Florida. He also earned a master of business administration degree from Florida Tech. He earned his Certified Professional Contract Manager designation from the National Contract Management Association and is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. Mr. Pruett currently serves as Vice Mayor for the City of Cocoa Beach, Fla. In addition, he also sits on the Board of Trustees for Cape Canaveral Hospital.
