ENSCO’s Ted Freeman Promoted to Vice President

Falls Church, Va., July 17, 2008—ENSCO announced today that ENSCO employee Ted Freeman has been promoted to Vice President of Information Systems and Technology (IST).

Mr. Freeman moves up from Division Manager, a position he has held since 2003. Joining the company in 1995, Mr. Freeman has been the leading catalyst for building ENSCO’s robust company-wide information system. Most significantly, Mr. Freeman was responsible for ENSCO’s overall business automation, electronic information access, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of business information used by all organizational elements, employees, customers and shareholders.

“In the 13 years that Ted had led the company’s information technology efforts, he has managed the full life cycle. He can look back with a great sense of accomplishment at all that he and his team have implemented. The promotion to vice president was well deserved and well earned,” said ENSCO CEO Paul Broome. “We look forward with anticipation to the changes that Ted and his group will make for the company in the future.”

A native of Washington, D.C., Ted holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco. He also obtained his master’s degree in telecommunications from George Washington University, Washington, D.C., in May 2000. Ted continues to broaden his education with coursework and certifications in his field while enhancing and honing his leadership and business-related skills.
